healthy lifestyles

Work on establishing and maintaining healthy lifestyles for all members of the school community is a means through which pupils develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, stay healthy and safe, and prepare them for life and work in modern Britain.

Services For Education deliver a number of programmes aimed at impacting positively on the physical and emotional health and lifestyle decisions that pupils make.

Through a whole school approach we provide policy development, curriculum planning and resources, support to change school culture and environment, staff professional development, and  support to develop partnerships with parents/carers and local communities.

This strategy enables schools to not only teach health education effectively but provide pupils with opportunities to experience the benefits of healthy choices and behaviours.

We have a wealth of experienced facilitators, including aspect and subject lead practitioners from schools and those with extensive senior leadership experience, so enabling the demands of national and local agenda to be effectively met.
